"I want to talk to yall about Gracie, who lives in a kingdom of free lollies and porn. She is a magical cookie elf! Mine to be exact.

(Theres a heavy chance I might get sidetracked and start talking about Famous Amos or the weather, so be informed.)

Now, I might suffer from psychological and mental issues, but heck it dont matter because Gracie isn't exactly all about rationality and normal anyway. That may come as an insult to most of you, but if it does, then what the fuck are ya doin' here? We're hot young people in last year's clothes and freshly crazed minds. It doesn't matter if we're rude and stupid; didn't I say we're hot and young?

Anyway, I don't even know her full name, or else I forgot which is mean (don't forget your friend's full name kids), but I know very well that she is fucking awesome. More awesome than Saturday cartoons, more awesome than sundaes on a hot summer's day, more awesome than a public toilet when you have to piss so badly, and certainly, more awesome than myself, who is pretty damn awesome to be honest.

She is my other half. The kind of friend that you don't have to call every single day or meet 7 days a week, 12 months in a year but still have that bad ass bond that makes other people glare and admire. We discuss complicated plots to kidnap Pete and put him in our basement. Sometimes, when we are really in a good mood, we make up characters we wish we are, and babble away with childish imagination. We talk about deep stuffs too; we're smart, really, just in the wrong and sick way.

We share things I can't believe I could even think of sharing. We annoy ceaselessly, we promise carelessly, we wait patiently, we tease and torment, we ponder deeply, we fight with venom, we cry shamelessly and we love. And when we can't breathe, or the world seems to manipulate even more and close in on us, we sigh and we sit, in each other's presence.

She'd pat me on my back, and tell me everything is going to be alright even if the situation is completely hopeless and fucked. She'd put a smile on my sad, unjustified face, and sometimes leave my mouth wide open, just by being Gracie. She's explicit, and dangerous. She'd say 'Fuck your skinny asses' and say 'ILY' in a matter of seconds. She's wildly complicated. Freaky and alien, at times. Too emotional, or too icy. Sad, desperate and in love. And sometimes, in those rare moments, she's this happy little girl in pigtails with a giant ice cream in hand.

Maybe it's ridiculous to be so attached to someone over the internet; because we all know the internet can be a nest of terror, but whenever I allow myself to think about it, I find myself not caring at all. I'm here, she's here, we're rockin' and smokin', and we love each other. So, what's the problem?

We're friends, and if you knew exactly how we are together, you'd be so jealous.

And if youre one of those witty ass people who snort in contempt, and go They're psychopaths with too much time in their hands., well, guess what punk?

You suck.

(ooh, veeery snappy Ray.)

We have something, me and Gracie, and youd be lying through your teeth if you try to deny it. This unlogical and wondrous thing I call our friendship is so gigantic and powerful, itd blow Hiroshima and Nagasaki off hands down and still have enough ammos to smack you across the face. And Im not even sure why I instigate to convince you all so much anyways.

Haha. I think we're fucking alright, me and Gracie."

And I love you to death, Ravy.

A falling star
Least I fall alone.
I can't explain what you can't explain.
You're finding things that you didn't know
I look at you with such disdain

*gasp* It's eating people!

Okay, this will be my first time making a movie review so please do pay good attention to it.

John, Rachel, umh...John's friend (forgot his name) and I watched Cloverfield the other day. It was something I'm prepared to be disappointed about because, though there's been alot of good reviews and controversy over it, the fact that it's shot in a hand-held camera made me a little skeptic on how it will become a great movie. But see, I was wrong. I actually liked the movie. Hell, I loved it even.

Now, if you haven't watched it then I strongly suggest you close this window, go to your room, call a friend and ask them to come with you and watch it in the theater. But seriously, this movie will loose it's novelty if you just roamed around the internet for spoilers. YOU MUST WATCH IT YOURSELF. Trust me, it's worth it. Well, for my taste at least.

Anyways, the plot goes too simple that it doesn't really fit the theme of the movie. Honestly, there are lots of elements of the movie that doesn't fit with anything at all but if you get to watch them as a whole, it's just plain amazing.

I've never enjoyed monster movies but I guess the key of it is it wasn't just some monster Godzilla-like film wherein some creature attacks the city, eats people blah blah blah. It's actually something unique. To start with, the monster's appearance. No, I dont have a picture of it but I'll try my best to describe it. Imagine a turtle impregnating a 4-legged freaky octopus with some mixed traits of a giant spider whose cousins with some really weird-looking primitive shellfish. Minus the shell. Err...

Okay, I suck at describing that's why I'm nagging people to watch it! But moving along, the monster's concept. It's the most unique monster I've ever seen. The way he kills people majorly was well, eat them but the other ways are just...cute. You can explode because of its bite, and when I said "it" meaning not the actual monster but the ones who dripped from him and turned into some giant spider baby cloverfields. I told you, it's cute.

But seriously though, it's not just the movie itself that fascinated me. The story has alot more to it than just a city being attacked by some weird creature. The thing I admired about this movie is it didn't shape up a typical story, wherein in some movie monsters, it's like the monster has been avoiding to kill the main characters which was totally stupid. Here, nobody was safe and important enough to be the monster's victim, even if you just proposed to a girlfriend, or there's a new born baby that time, they're still all going to die. And that's the reality of life, you see.

And as for Rob's situation, all he ever wanted was to tell his ex-girlfriend the things he was suppose to tell her back when some creature wasn't attacking the city, and there's still a possibility for them to get back together. He got his chance, but it took him 43 of his friends lives, his brother's, his own and his loved one to be able to do so. His drive to save her is more of from the guilt than love because he never got to tell her that he loved her. And for that, he acted in the stupidest ways possible, and apparently, getting himself and his loved ones killed.

But hey, give Rob a break. His story kinda tells us all how to grab chances when they're there. Live each day as it if was our last. You know, enjoy life, appreciate it, and most especially, let everybody know how important they are to you. Because you wouldn't know if one day, some monster will be falling off the sky and eat the whole city. Now, that would be terrible eh?

So, all in all, I'm giving it 5 stars. Yes, 5 stars. The fact that it was a held-held camera draws you in and makes you feel like you're the one filming and experiencing all those crazy things. And no, it wasn't badly shot, nor unrealistically good. It's just right to shape the story up and make us see the necessary parts.

There were some questions left unanswered though, but I reading something off of the net that there will be a sequel so...YAY!

That if you'd say, goodbye today.
I'd ask you to be true.

Right, New Year. For some reason this fascinates me more than Christmas. Expecting changes brings hope to the table. Hence, I'm being optimistic about this coming year. Yes, I'll be changing for the better. Yes, I'll get fucking over the unworthy people and keep the ones who's been with me all along.

*sighs*

Anyways.

HOLYMOTHERFUCKINGSHITSEKSZME. ;p

And yeah, perhaps I'll just leave you guys with that. If I keep going on with this, i might get all sentimental. You won't like drama greeting 2008 "Hello", seriously.
